Current DCN Events

Every year the DCN runs a number of events to promote the role of district councils, inform our members about the latest developments in government policy and providing networking opportunities. Please see below for a list of upcoming events, while if you are interested in past events you can find them at this link.

Description: You will be aware that the consultation on fair funding was launched alongside the provisional local government settlement just before Christmas. This will be held on Friday 2 February from 10.30-2.45 at the LGA HQ in 18 Smith Square. The format of this will be an overview from Stuart Hoggan at DCLG of the consultation, an overview of the current funding system, followed by group sessions to get views on the themes of the consultation to feed into our response.
