This national Conference will showcase the work of district councils in growing the national economy, one local economy at a time, protecting and enhancing quality of life for residents and the central role of district councils in shaping the future of local government in localities and how districts can continue to build better lives and bigger economies. The Conference will also focus on how we can move towards a more secure financial framework for districts, which rewards growth whilst supporting those in greatest need.

Hosted at the Chesford Grange Hotel near Kenilworth, the event will be a two day overnight residential conference for Leaders, Portfolio Holders, Chief Executives, Senior Officers, Ministers, Civil Servants and other key local government stakeholders. Last year the conference attracted over 200 attendees, including District Council Leaders and Chief Executive Officers, hearing from three Ministers and a multitude of other interesting speakers, it was rated excellent by those attending.
